Meet Sara Kay

Sara has worked in food and nutrition education with all age groups for the last five years. Before starting at Pure Food Kids Foundation, she developed and taught a mentorship-based, after school cooking program for high-school students in Bedford-Stuyvasant, Brooklyn. As a current Food Studies masters student at New York University, her academic focus is on authenticity rhetoric in ethnic cuisines in New York City. 

In her free time, Sara enjoys big cooking projects and sharing food detective fun facts with her friends!
